Unter der Leitung des ehemaligen Thy Catafalque-Gitarristen János Juhász kündigt die fünfköpfige ungarische Death Metal-Gruppe DAMNATION die Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Studioalbums „Fátum“ an, das für den 18. Februar über Pest Records geplant ist. Aufgenommen und gemischt/gemastert im Obsidian Sound Studio von Árpád Szenti erinnert „Fátum“ an die denkwürdigste Ära des Death Metal, im Stil von Bands wie Incantation, Morbid Angel oder Gorefest und vielen anderen.
Das Cover-Artwork ist von Stan Ivan signiert.
With lyrics contemplating on the mortality of the universe, enshrouded by a dark, dense musical atmosphere, "Fátum" is all about one of the earliest fears of humankind: existential angst set in a celestial scale.
A few words about the album from the founder and main songwriter János Juhász: "I am really happy that this album has finally been made, and also thankful that I could make it with such great musicians."
