 Die Death Metal Band Sectioned, welche bereits 2010 mit Purulent Reality ein richtig fettes old school Death Album veröffentlichten (Review) haben endlich ein neues Line-Up am Start und sind bereit wieder voll durchzustarten.
Das neue und ( O-Ton) bisher stärkste Line-Up liest sich folgendermaßen:
Bryan Cegon (Disincarnate) - Vocals
Zoltan Valter - Guitars
Kyle Sokol (Cadaveric Mass, Trust for Liars, Strict-9) - Bass
Gabriel Lewandowski (Resurrection, ex-Hellwitch, Equinox, Naphobia) - drums
Sectioned sind kurz davor das Studio zu entern um ein neues, bisher noch unbetiteltes Demo aufzunehmen. Das Demo soll gegen Ende April veröffentlicht werden. Außerdem ist die Band noch auf der Suche nach einem neuen Label.
Man darf einen interessanten Mix aus europäischem und amerikanischem Death Metal erwarten ! Wir sind jedenfalls schon mal sehr auf das neue Material der Band gespannt.

Hier noch die zugehörige Biografie:
Sectioned was formed in 2006 by Zoltan Valter in Broadstairs, England. The goal was to play death metal the way he envisioned. The band released the promo "ELME" in 2007 and worked hard spreading them all over the world. The promo has received great reviews. After several line-up changes and fine tuning of the material the band started recordings for their debut album "Purulent Reality" in 2009. The line-up featured members from Dimentianon and ex-Frost [Hungary]. The band has played shows in USA and Europe including a show in Holland opening up for the legendary Thanatos. In late August of 2009 Sectioned returned to Hungary with the new line-up and played another triumphant show. Sectioned is a full time death metal band that has nothing to do with religion or politics. They play death metal in the vein of the Florida and Swedish greats!!! Which includes intricate solos, brutal vocals, and a very in your face approach which the band proudly stands for. After a couple more shows in Hungary and a show in Brooklyn (opening for Artillery), Sectioned was on hold until the end of 2014.
In late 2014, founding Sectioned guitarist Zoltan Valter contacted Bryan Cegon(Disincarnate), one of his all-time favorite, old-school death metal vocalists. They discussed the possibility of Bryan doing some vocals, on Sectioned's next recording. Upon hearing Valter's pre-production tracks, Cegon was so impressed by the songwriting and solos, he agreed to the seemingly impossible task of joining an International band. This was nothing new to Valter as Sectioned has always been an International project. Things progressed quickly. The services of Resurrection drummer Gabriel Lewandowski (ex-Hellwitch, Equinox, Naphobia) were recruited. Renowned bassist Kyle Sokol(Cadaveric Mass, Trust for Liars, Strict-9) had been dying to get back to his death metal roots and promptly followed suit. The Florida branch of Sectioned (Cegon, Lewandowski, Sokol), plan on recording their contributions, to the upcoming three song demo at Orlando's Blakk Magik studios (The lair of Druid Lord's frontman Tony Blakk), in early 2015. The raw tracks, will then be sent to Valter, in Switzerland for the guitar recordings then mixing at STU Recordings. If all goes according to plan, the three songs of this unique blend of American/European death metal, should be done by April, at the latest.
