bildNach der Veröffentlichung ihrer gefeierten Alben „Nihil“ und „Ascension“ hat die belgische Black-Metal-Horde SERPENTS OATH bei Odium Records für ihr drittes Album „Revelation“ unterschrieben, dessen Veröffentlichung für Ende 2023 geplant ist.

Das belgische Black Metal Beast hat gerade sein erstes Video „Purification through Fire“ vom kommenden Album veröffentlicht.

Nach den brillant umgesetzten Videos zu den Titeln „Blood Covenant“ und „Purification Through Fire“ haben uns Serpents Oath vor der Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums „Revelation“ ein weiteres visuelles Fest beschert. Bereitet euch auf alptraumhafte Bilder und verheerende Geräusche von „Pandaemonium“ vor.

Regarding the song, the band had the following to say: “With our third single we have chosen to display that part of the album that combines unrelenting rage with more dramatic parts, resulting in an epic hymn.”

Regarding the thematic of the song, the band continued: “The song reveals the time of the Final Harvest. Here, once again, the Undead Gods step forth from the shadows to reign in resplendent glory and reap the Lifeforce of humans, establishing Open Rule over all creation.”

“Gateways to Tiamat” extends the arc unveiled on Revelation, presenting a hymn to the primordial void and the transformative force of the ancient Serpent. The track is positioned as a descent and return, holding tight to the band’s black metal core while pushing intensity and atmosphere in tandem. To foreground the words and the visual identity that shaped Revelation, the band chose a lyric video format that pairs the song with artwork by Néstor Avalos, uniting image, text and sound in one reveal.
