CURSE melden sich mit dem dritten Studio Album "Void Above, Abyss Below" roher und oldschool-lastiger zurück, als je zuvor. Kopf der Band Eldur (u.a. FORTID, POTENTIAM) besetzte auch wie bei FORTID mit D. Theobald den Schlagzeugposten und verschanzte sich mit ihm zusammen einige Wochen in norwegischen Wäldern. Heraus kamen dabei neun rohe und aggressive Tracks, welche durchaus an alte Darkthrone, Celtic Frost Platten erinnern.Ein neues Meisterwerk für Freunde des rohen oldschool Black-Metal!
