Inspired by the spirit of early albums like "Manifested Darkness" and "Death Kult Legions", "Flesh For The Kult Of Death" unleashes a massive blend of chainsaw guitars, morbid melodies and a sinister atmosphere that captivates the listener from the first note to the last. Yet, the band achieves far more than a mere nostalgic look back - REVEL IN FLESH combine the raw energy of their early days with the experience and songwriting skills of a band that has matured over the years.
Thematically, the album once again delves into the dark realms of death, cults and decay, underscoring the band’s uncompromising commitment to carrying the torch of classic Death Metal with authenticity and passion.
With "Flesh For The Kult Of Death", REVEL IN FLESH deliver their most steadfast declaration of devotion to traditional Death Metal to date - raw, dark, anthemic and brimming with unbridled energy. For fans of the band’s early era and devotees of classic Swedish Death Metal alike, this album represents a triumphant return to the darkness from which REVEL IN FLESH originally emerged.
