The band comment on the track and video: "We promised new music for the year 2025 and ‘Deus Ex' certainly wasn't everything, as we're dropping another new song. For ‘Fat God’, we didn't let ourselves get carried away either and found a duet partner for Fabi in our buddy Alan from Distant, whose inhuman vocals fit perfectly into the overall picture of the new single. We can be seen live at a few festivals over the summer, and we might have ‘Fat God’ on our setlist. So come and party with us!"
