"This might well be the track that reveals the hand behind SERPENT LORD the most. ‘A Pagan’s Spell’ carries much of the melodic and atmospheric character Jake Superchi is known for through his work with UADA, weaving fluid guitar leads and ritualistic percussion into something both hypnotic and forceful. Between gritty riffing, raw vocals and sudden bursts of intensity, the track constantly shifts between atmosphere and aggression without ever losing its momentum."
The album "The Once Forgotten Ways of Old" was mixed by Jake Superchi (Uada, Alda, Ceremonial Castings) and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Sumerlands, Kreator), with cover artwork by Kris Verwimp (Morbid, Old Man's Child, Marduk).
