Dreißig Jahre nachdem sie sich zum ersten Mal die gehörnte Krone des Metal aufsetzten, sind Cryptopsy so unersättlich wie eh und je. Das neueste Album der Montrealer Legenden, „An Insatiable Violence“, erhielt ihre zweite Nominierung in der Kategorie „Bestes Metal/Hard-Music-Album“ bei den diesjährigen JUNO Awards – eine Kategorie, die sie vor zwei Jahren gewannen. Nun, da sie sich darauf vorbereiten, das 30-jährige Jubiläum ihres in die Decibel Hall of Fame aufgenommenen Albums „None So Vile“ mit einer Headliner-Tournee im Rahmen der diesjährigen Decibel Magazine Tour zu feiern, beweisen Cryptopsy einmal mehr, warum sie die brutalste Band im Death Metal sind.

Cryptopsy veröffentlichen heute die unzensierte Version des Musikvideos zu „Malicious Needs“, der zweiten Single und dem erschütternden Finale von „An Insatiable Violence“. Obwohl das Video auf YouTube zunächst als zu brutal für die unzensierte Wiedergabe eingestuft wurde, offenbart die unzensierte Fassung die expliziten Begierden, die unsere digitalen Fantasien nähren.
