Die US Death Metaller Malevolent Creation haben ein Statement auf ihrer Seite zu den letzten Rassismus Vorwürfen gespostet. Hierin betont die Band zwar grob und ungehobelt zu sein und immer für einen Skandal gut, aber Rassisten seinen sie nicht.
Nach verschiedenen rassistischen Ausfällen des Bassers Blachowicz in den 90er Jahren und homophoben Äußerungen beim Rauswurf ihres Drummers im letzten Jahr hatte Blachowicz kürzlich erneut einen rassistischen Ausrutscher auf Facebook gepostet.

Anbei das Statement der Band im Original:
» Due to the latest discussion about the band, we would like to put some things straight.
Doubtlessly Malevolent Creation have always been a band worth a scandal. If you haven’t heard the stories, google them! The band is around since 28 years. We are surely no saints, but just a bunch of metal fans. Some of us with a strange kind of humor or an unerring instinct for writing or saying the wrong things. This has happened in the past and unfortunately it has just recently happened again. Twice.
Posting political statements or non-PC jokes on social media platforms surely wasn’t the most clever move. Especially the stuff that can easily be misunderstood and misinterpreted. The latest – quite uneducated and unreflective – comment on the American president was the final straw. Since then things have gotten a bit out of hand.
Accusing some band members for being racists is easy and might appear obvious to some. But still it’s not true, no matter what some people want to make you believe. Still we do understand the anger of some fans, some journalists or the people at Century Media. We never intended to hurt anyone’s feelings and surely didn’t want to open up old wounds. Now the damage is done. We will again be confronted with the old stories and accusations. As we should have known better, we will not avoid the conflict.
Again, many apologies for being such a bunch of rude fellows from time to time.

One more important point: Besides sharing our jokes and political views with the world, we have managed to record a new album! It took us five years, but it was worth the wait. “Dead Man’s Path” is to be released in October and it does kick ass! It’s for fans of killer thrash-infested death metal the malevolent way!
