SLAUGHTERDAY, one of Europe's Death Metal leaders return with a brandnew album named Tyrants of Doom. This devasting masterpiece marks the fourth full length album and contains 10 authentic brain-melting songs. Musically way another step forward and so far the band's most refined and mature album. Rotteness meets melancholy meets brutality and melody.
As usual, the album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Soundlodge Studios by Jörg Uken. The artwork was done by Khaos Diktator Design (Lock Up, Possession etc.).

We are excited to welcome Tom Horrified Hoffmann (Graveyard Ghoul, Karloff, Hallucinate) to the Slaughterday line-up. We are currently preparing for Party.San Metal Open Air and rehearsals are going great.
Our eternal gratitude goes out to Marc Dieken for having been a part of Slaughterday for the last two years.

Nachdem SLAUGHTERDAY bei Testimony Records einen Vertrag unterzeichnet haben, wurde nun eine 7" EP mit dem Titel "Terrified" für den 21.11.2025 angekündigt. Als ersten Appetithappen haben die Deather den Titelsong mit Video für euch online gestellt, checkt das Teil unten an. Für die Aufnahmen, das mixen und mastern war Alex Pojda im Holodeckstudio, Oldenburg, zuständig. Das Cover-Artwork stammt von Thomas Westphal (Necromaniac Artworks).
Gitarrist Jens Finger kommentiert: » This EP differs stylistically from our regular releases, because it is a tribute to the old grind bands like Repulsion and Napalm Death, which is also reflected in the cover and the logo. Of course, this immediately brings to mind Repulsion's title 'Horrified' – which was exactly our intention. Every track is a short, sharp attack on the ears. What you hear is what you'll get: bursts of explosive energy, razor-sharp riffs, and relentless rhythms – uncompromising and unrestrained! «
Frontmann Bernd Reiners: »Both, the eponymous track 'Terrified' and the EP are paying homage to the raw ferocity of grindcore's early pioneers – meaning such legends as Napalm Death and Repulsion. Staying true to the genre's uncompromising roots, this track is a furious burst of aggression and bleak honesty that channels the chaos, speed, and unfiltered rage that defined the early days of grind. Lyrically, 'Terrified' tears into the modern cycle of fear, manipulation, and profit-driven hate. The repetition and blunt force mirror the suffocating nature of dread. With its grinding riffs, pulverising drums, and relentless vocal assault, 'Terrified' is not just a song but a statement. We salute the unrelenting spirit of grindcore's past, and raise a warning cry that is squarely aimed at the present.«
