Die Kalifornischen Deather SKELETAL REMAINS legen mit einem dritten Album nach, welches am 13.April über Dark Descent Records in Nord Amerika und über Century Media Records auf dem restlichen Erdball erscheint. Devouring Mortality heisst der neue Output und man darf gespannt sein was uns die Truppe hier präsentiert.
Dan Swanö im Unisound Studio war für den Mix verantwortlich und das Artwork wurde von Dan Seagrave erstellt.
Chris Monroy hat zum neuen Album folgendes zu sagen: "We are extremely excited and eager for the release of 'Devouring Mortality.' Having the opportunity to work with Dan Seagrave on the artwork was a dream come true for us. And Dan Swanö, man he really made our album sound huge and heavy as fuck! It is a true honor to be able to work with these two legends. We can't wait to share it with all the fans of death metal!"
Im Falle von SKELETAL REMAINS bin ich echt zuversichtlich,daß das wieder was schwer geiles wird. Die Jungs gehören zu der eher spärlich gesäten Gattung jüngerer Traditionstodmetaler ( Wort der Woche,hehe ), die den Langzeittest mit Bravour bestanden haben. Ich hab im Auto nen Death Metal - USB - Stick, auf dem primär alle möglichen "große" Bands drauf sind und dazwischen Neueres wie zB SKELETAL REMAINS - und im Shufflemodus hat sich gezeigt,wie geil die Mucke unter all den Klassikern rüberkommt. Wird also erstmal blind eingesackt. Zusammen mit REQUIEM derzeit so die Scheibe, die ich am meisten herbeisehne.

Die Californischen Deather von SKELETAL REMAINS veröffentlichen ihre neue Single und ein Video zum Song "CONGREGATION OF FLESH". Der Song stammt vom neuen Studioalbum “The Entombment Of Chaos” welches am 11.September via Century Media erscheint.
"We gave this song to our director, Dillon Vaughn, and let him have a little fun with the narrative of the video, putting his own twist on the lyrical theme," says singer/guitarist Chris Monroy. "It depicts a small cult giving a sacrificial offering to their verminous god in hopes of bringing forth the physical form of whom they praise. Big thanks to Anthony Vasquez, Max Ouweelen, and Harley Barden, who offered their time to help out and a special thanks to the legend Dylan Carlson of Earth for lending his hand to play our Cultist Leader."
