 Die finnische Black Metal Legion Ondfødt veröffentlicht ihr neues Album "Det Österbottniska Mörkret" am 28.April über Black Lion Records. Auf dem Album sind auch Gastauftritte von Jacob Björnfot (KVAEN) und Mathias "Vreth" Lillmåns enthalten.
Written in 2022, "Det Österbottniska Mörkret" is a bleak record, both lyric and sound wise. Hailing from Ostrobothnia, an area in western Finland with lots of urban legends and dark stories, this album is exploring the darkest side of Ostrobothnia, both lyrically and sonically.
"If you are from Ostrobothnia you will understand. The endless darkness during winter when the sun is barely going above the horizon. You will also understand the dark history of the witch hunt."
"Det Österbottniska Mörkret" is about all of that and going even deeper to the roots of all the evil spirits that lives in the area.
The album takes you through the dark history of murders and the darkest side of people driven by religion. And aswell the urban legends of the spirits and the evil creations that lives in the endless forsts of Ostrobothnia. And finally the album takes you through death itself with the song and first single "Dödsrejson".

 Am 26.05.2023 erscheint mit "Det Österbottniska Mörkret" das vierte Album der finnischen Black Metal Band Ondfødt. Als Vorgeschmack hat die Band die Single und das Video zu "Tvelatan" veröffentlicht. Checkt den Song unten an.
"Det Österbottniska Mörkret" wurde in den Wolfthrone Studios im September/Oktober 2022 aufgenommen und von Owe Inborr gemixt und gemastert. Als Gäste sind auf dem Album Jacob Björnfot (KVAEN) und Mathias "Vreth" Lillmåns zuhören. Das Artwork kommt von René Thuys. Die Scheibe wird über Black Lion Records veröffentlicht.

 Am 14.04.2023 werden Altari ihr neues Album "Kröflueldar" via Svart Records veröffentlichen. Das Album wurde nach einer 9 Jahre andauernden Serie von Eruptionen des Krafla Vulkansystems in Island, die von 1975 bis 1984 stattfand, benannt. Vielleicht auch deshalb, hat sich die Black Metal Band aus Island ganze 9 Jahre Zeit genommen um das Album fertigzustellen. Den Titel song des Albums könnt ihr euch unten anhören.
Die Scheibe wird als Vinyl, CD und Digital veröffentlicht.

 Die norwegische raw Black Metaller TSJUDER haben Details zu ihrem kommenden Album "Helvegr" verraten. Die Scheibe wird am 23.6.2023 via Season of Mist veröffentlicht werden und ist die erste full length seit 2015. Erstmals ist auch Drummer Jon “The Charn” Rice auf den Aufnahmen zu hören. Als Gastmusiker hat Pål Emanuelsen das Gitarrensolo beim Song "Gamle Erik" beigesteuert und Seidemann von 1349 hat die Vocals zum Song "Gods of Black Blood" abgeliefert. Das Artwork zum Album stammt von Jonas Svensson und Laura Nardelli.
Neben dem Artwork und der Tracklist wurde auch mit "Gods of Black Blood" ein erster Song veröffentlicht. Checkt das Teil unten an.

 Die finnischen Black Metaller Sacrilegious Impalement kündigen den Nachfolger zu ihrem 2013 erschienenen Album III - Lux Infera bekannt. Am 12. Mai erscheint das neue Album IV - Infinite Victor über WOODCUT RECORDS. Das Cover zum Album stammt von Nestor Avalos.

 Fast aus dem Nichts haben die Niederländer URFAUST ihr neues Album "Untergang" via Ván Records veröffentlicht.
Die Scheibe mit den sieben Songs und 32 Minuten Spiellänge wurde im Bunker mit Deportator aufgenommen. Das Artwork stammt von Iza Carlucci.
Ihr könnt euch die komplette Scheibe bereits auf YouTube oder hier unten anhören.
Allerdings posteten das Black Metal-Duo heute auf Facebook ein Bild (siehe rechts) mit den Daten 2003 / 2023 und schrieben dazu » Goodbye «. Soll dies das Statement zur Auflösung von URFAUST sein? Man darf gespannt sein was hinter dem Post steckt...
