GAAHLS WYRD, Die Band um den ehemaligen GORGOROTH-Frontmann Gaahl  bringt am 31.5.2019 das Album "GastiR - Ghosts Invited" via Season Of Mist heraus.
Aufgenommen wurde in den norwegischen Solslottet Studios zusammen mit Iver Sandøy (ENSLAVED).

Was haltet ihr von dem was Gaahl da jetzt macht?
Am Samstag in Weinheim haben wir den vorletzten Auftritt der Megalangen Tour mit UADA und Tribulation gesehen. Ist eine Mischung aus Pagan, Folk und Black Metal, atmosphärisch dargeboten. Klar hat er auch Songs von Gorgoroth gespielt. Wenn man etwas offen ist, dann kann das schon gefallen. Ist eben nicht das das ganz grobe Zeug wie früher. Die ausgekoppelte Single "Ghosts Invited" zeigt den Stil ganz gut.

ich freu mich richtig auf die neue Platte.. allerdings bin ich auch ein Gaahl-Fanboy und kann mich generell sehr leicht für seine Kunst begeistern
live war Gaahl der absolute Hammer - ich muss gestehen dass mir das Rumgedödel der restlichen Band etwas auf den Sack ging - aber damit stand ich beim Konzert relativ alleine da

"Braiding the Stories" heralds the arrival of Gaahls Wyrd's second album of the same name; where the past and the ethereal intricately weave together. Guided by the indomitable presence of Kristian "Gaahl" Espedal, with the adept mastery of Ole "Lust Kilman" Walaunet on guitars, Andreas "Nekroman" Salbu's resonant bass lines, and Kevin "Spektre" Kvåle's percussive power.
