Die Russischen old school Deather Pyre veröffentlichen ihr neues Album Human Hecatomb am 06.Oktober über Chaos Records ! Hier gibt es schon einen Vorgeschmack auf das kommende Material https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqNHuAWUqUk While there are revivalist bands, usually from the same scene, Pyre from Russia is turning the game on its head. Although Russia is traditionally rooted in old school music, Pyre decides to go the Swedish way but not eschewing the crusty riffing the country is known for. The result is humongous - the appeal is rare and the intent has never been translated better perhaps. This is as good as what Dead Congregation had set out to achieve with that style but this is Swedish-inclined old school music with much depth and balance. The album is an exercise in well-tempered Death Metal that is at once caustic and captivating. The songs are catchy, crusty, even imbued with doomy and melodic bits and include influences of bands such as Asphyx, Dismember, Entombed, Comecon, Morgoth, even Death and Edge of Sanity.
The album will be released in a special digipack format by Chaos Records. This is bound to be epic.

Nu hab ich mal reingehört. Nettes Geschepper, aber die Stimme..... es ist mal wieder die Stimme.... Erinnert mich sehr an Van Drunen (mal wieder) und du weisst ja.. Ich habe halt filigrane, französische Ohren!

Also ganz ehrlich, ich finde die Stimme überhaupt nicht wie van Drunen, der hat ein absolut einzigartiges Organ. Finde den Schreihals hier eher sehr Thrash-lastig, was der Mucke aber sehr gut zu Gesicht steht. Auf jeden Fall fett.Da müssen wir den französischen Ohren wohl mal nen Einlauf oder neue Löcher verpassen

Gerade mal wieder komplett gehört, eine der besten Schwedendeath Alben aus Russland. Wirklich sehr fettes Album von Pyre, bin ja mal sehr auf den Nachfolger gespannt.

Die russischen Deather von PYRE haben einen Vertrag mit MEMENTO MORI unterzeichnet. Ein neues Album soll dann im kommenden Jahr über das neue Label erscheinen, weitere Infos folgen wohl in kürze.Rising from the sewers of Saint Petersburg in 2011, and consisting of some hyperactive musicians who are/were members of other underground Russian acts such as Teitanfyre, Drama, Ulvdalir, Internal Damage, Blazing Rust, Chamber Of Torture, and others, Pyre's unholy sledgehammer of rotting and caustic music is DEATH fuckin' METAL right down to its genes, as genuine and convincing as it can possibly get, focusing on the traditional and raw sound reminiscent of greats such as Asphyx, Grave, Morgoth, Nihilist/early Entombed, Death, Unleashed, Autopsy, Repugnant, Obituary, Dismember, and Pestilence, and rivalling most of its recent peers trying to do the same thing. Das neue Album "Chained to Ossuaries" der russischen Deather Pyre wird am 27.April über Memento Mori erscheinen. Memento Mori wird den Vertieb als CD-Version übernehmen und über Dawnbreed Records wird später die Vinyl-Version erhältlich sein."Chained to Ossuaries" ist das zweite Album von Pyre und das Debut für Memento Mori.
