Rogga and his Swedish killing machine had to cancel their upcoming summer shows (incl. PROTZEN Open Air this weekend and OBSCENE EXTREME FEST), as their second guitarist Andreas left the band...here´s a little statement by Rogga himself:

As a few times before in the past 15 and more years, Andreas has decided to leave the rotten ship that is PAGANIZER.

Nothing spectacular about that...the man isn´t hardcore death metal like the rest of us idiots, he often needs a few years breal to listen to Sophie Zelmani.

So now Dennis moved over to lead guitar and it'll be killer as he's a better guitarplayer than me or Andreas (wich isn't hard though)

And on the bass we have now long time friend Willy Darkness, the man the myth the mystery (to women anyways...)

We have had to cancel the shows for this summer wich we are fucken pissed about ofcorpse, but with some effort we will do them next year instead!

Cheers!"

Both sad and good news here...
We and Jocke decided that it was time that he stepped down from the drums. Its due to a few personal issues, and we remain the best of friends.

The good news though are that back on the drums we have Matte Fiebig once again. The monstorsity that blasted and pounded his way through Paganizer classics like Dead Unburied and No Divine Rapture among many others.

We are very excited, and as of today rehearsals will start to again stitch together the atrocity that is PAGANIZER.

First up us a new EP that will be released later this year in a very cool way, followed bu a gig with our firneds in Blood Mortized and Turbocharged in Stockholm.

And for next year we will play the places we had to cancel this summer in europe.

Cheers!

"Beyond the Macabre is a supernatural spectacle, a display of Swedish death metal that continues to menace and maraud in the best of the old traditions, but with a knack for incorporating evocative melodies that both add to the music’s visceral and vicious vitality and makes the songs genuinely memorable"

Swedish death metal giants Paganizer have taken their time to come up with their most mature album till date. They've honed their sound, become more expressive, and made their song structures even more elaborate, without diluting any of the qualities that we've come to expect from them. There is a flawless combination of tuneful riffs, stomping parts, brisk blasting and some of the best hooks in the genre, underpinned by a glorious albeit tasteful sense of melody. Littered with memorable riffs and stirring melodies, the songs are at once pummelling and evocative, ensuring the desired heaviness and managing to leave a lasting impression as well. The stunning Juanjo Castellano artwork lends to the album a mystifying, otherworldly aura that goes perfectly with this album where Rogga Johansson tries to go above and beyond the call of duty and delivers a hard-hitting and poignant masterpiece in this realm of death metal.

Tracklist:
1. Down The Path Of Decay
2. Left Behind To Rot
3. Meatpacker
4. Sleepwalker
5. Succumb To The Succubus
6. Raving Rhymes Of Rot
7. Beyond The Macabre
8. Menschenfresser
9. You Are What You Devour
10. Unpeaceful End (ft. Karl Willets of BOLT THROWER)
