The band was founded by Anders Biazzi (Amon Amarth , Blood Mortized) in the summer of 2012 , Rogga Johansson ( Paganizer,Revoling,The Grotesquery...) joined in some moths later. It was meant to be a 2 man Project Anders writing the music and Rogga doing the Screams and writing the lyrics.But sone after more and more got involved in the project , Jonas Lindblood (Puteraeon) Mr. Hitchcock (Zombiefication) Gustav Myrin (Blood Mortized) Dennis Johansson(Plästerd, Headstoned) Ralf Hauber(Revel in Flesh)and Tony Freed(Godhate).In September 2012 Just Before Dawn Signs whit Chaos Recordes for a 8 track CD and Vinyl! 7 great singers on 8 bloody trax! Music in the veins of Bolt Thrower and Hypocrisy and Asphyx!

Das tiefe Gegrowle passt doch schön zur rollenden Mucke finde ich, sind ja mehrere Sänger bei dem Projekt dabei, das wird sich sicher beim ein-oder anderen Song auch anders anhören.

Mir gefällts auch! Hab zwar nicht das verlangen mir sofort die Scheibe zu kaufen, doch nebenbei fetzt die Mucke sehr!Der Biazzi war also bei Amon Amarth.. interessant!

Das Album ist ein Knaller von vorne bis hinten ! Sehr zu empfehlen für Freunde von rohem schwedischem Midtempo Death Metal.

Just Before Dawn veröffentlichen ihre neue EP "In the Realm of Ash and Sorrow" am 18.12.2021 via Raw Skull Recordz. Die Scheibe ist auf 500 Stück limitiert und enthält vier neue Tracks, sowie ein Emtombed-Cover als Tribute für die beiden verstorbenen Sänger Sven Groß (Fleshcrawl) und L.G. Petrov (Entombed). Aufgenommen und gemischt wurde "In the Realm of Ash and Sorrow" in mehreren Studios (Riders on the Storm studio, Saw Sound studio, Bristol Caves studio). Das Layout stammt von Rai Wolters.Als neuer Sänger ist das Multitalent Remco Kreft zur Band gestoßen. Somit ist die Band mittlerweile zu einer multinationalen Combo geworden, denn die drei Mitglieder stammen aus Schweden, England und den Niederlanden.
