We are DESERTED FEAR, a DEATH METAL Band from Eisenberg/Thuringia, Germany, formed in 2008.In 2010 we recorded our first DEMO and started to play Live.
At the End of 2011 we decided to record our DEBUT ALBUM and asked DAN SWANÖ for the Mix and Mastering.
We signed to FDA REKOTZ for the RELEASE of the DEBUT ALBUM, named MY EMPIRE, out on the 28th of September 2012.
Da kommt was ganz großes raus, durfte das komplette Album schon hören und bin echt total überrascht, mit so einem Hammer hätte ich nicht gerechnet. Da Teil killt mal locker so manch andere VÖ im Old School Death Metal Sektor.

Dem kann ich mich nur anschliessen, ein wirklich starkes Album. Respekt vor den Jungs die mal eben so so ein Brett raushauen!Anhörpflicht für alle!!!!!!

Donnerwetter! Flotter Kieferbrecher! Vorallem der "Hail of Bullets" ähnliche Part gefällt mir sehr gut!

DESERTED FEAR are now back with their new album "Kingdom of Worms", which was recorded in June and July 2014 once more at Eisensound Studio in Eisenberg (Thuringia / Germany) under the knife of guitarist Gitarrist Fabian Hildebrandt. Mixing and Mastering duties have been handled by legendary Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Bloodbath, etc.), who put the finishing touches on "Kingdom of Worms" in his very own Unisound Studio.
Dan Swanö comments: "Deserted Fear is definitely one of the best Death metal bands in the world today. The combination of excellent musicianship and classy, song writing with hooks to die for, just melts my brain!!"

Haha der Studioreport is cool gemacht, sehr lustig. Leider immer nur fetzen vom gleichen Song zu hören, aber der brettert wie gewohnt. Ich glaub Inovation brauchen wir hier wieder nicht suchen, einfach nur Death Metal! Geil!

Aus unseren News:Die deutschen old school Death Metaller DESERTED FEAR arbeiten an einem neuen Album. Mehr als die Hälfte der Songs soll bereits geschrieben sein. Um dem Ganzen den letzten Schliff zu verpassen wird es in den nächsten Monaten auch live etwas ruhiger um die Band aus Eisenberg werden.
Der Nachfolger von "Kingdom of Worms" soll dann Ende 2016 erscheinen.

Today they vividly teach the meaning of fear to their international fellows! Not only that their last work "Dead Shores Rising" climbed into the Top 50 of Germany's album charts, they even played their distinct groove into the hearts and ears of thousands with a steady and overwhelming live presence in Europe and on countless festivals. Hier die News der deutschen Deather zum neuen Album und den Releaseshows:Da Nichtstun auf Dauer keine Lösung war und es besonders in diesen Zeiten immer mal wieder gute News braucht, freuen wir uns, heute unser fünftes Studioalbum namens „Doomsday“ anzukündigen! Releasedate ist der 04. März 2022 und der Vorverkauf startet am 17. Dezember, zusammen mit einem ersten musikalischen Vorgeschmack.
Simon: „Scheinbar angetrieben vom Frust über die niemals enden wollende Zwangspause, haben wir die letzten 1,5 Jahre an neunen Songs gearbeitet und in den vergangenen Wochen aufgenommen. Kaum zu glauben, dass wir Mitte letzten Jahres noch völlig desillusioniert mit leeren Händen dastanden und wir jetzt unsere bis dato abwechslungsreichste und ausgereifteste Platte in den Händen halten.“
Fabian: „Aufgenommen haben wir wieder bei mir im Eisensound Studio und auch Mix und Master habe ich diesmal selbst übernommen. Dadurch war der kreative Freiraum bei diesem Album größer denn je, da wir kleine Details und Ideen noch umsetzen konnten, die erst während des Mixing entstanden. Ein guter Ausblick, was da kommt, gibt unsere kürzlich erschienene 7inch “Funeral Of The Earth“, deren Mix auch ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für den Albumsound war, auf den ich dann noch mal paar Prozent draufpacken konnte.“
Mahne: „Das Album Artwork stammt von Rio Krisma und er hat unser Konzept perfekt umgesetzt. „Doomsday“ handelt zwar nicht von dem in Superman erschaffenen Monster, dessen einziges Ziel die Vernichtung anderer Lebensformen ist, doch die Menschheit scheint auf dem besten Weg dorthin und sich dabei auch noch selbst zu vernichten. Wir haben ein scheiß Problem, auch gesellschaftlich läuft einiges verkehrt und als Künstler wollen wir unsere Reichweite nutzen, um darauf aufmerksam zu machen.“
Auch eine Reihe von Release Shows haben wir geplant, denn die Hoffnung stirbt ja bekanntlich zuletzt!

DESERTED FEAR commented about the experience they made while shooting the video:
Fabian: "What a cool video shoot! The first single of an album is always something special and so we once again went on an adventure that will definitely stay in our memories. The day in the mine was not only a lot of fun, but also made you think."
Simon: "The reference to the everyday life of these workers has been gradually slipping into oblivion in Western society since the beginning of the 21st century. We can no longer imagine the catastrophic conditions under which people still work in Asia and the global South to achieve our prosperity."
Mahne: "Working in the mines was dangerous and the miners had to be able to rely on each other, because sometimes their lives depended on each other. It was all the more interesting to see how the miners were still on fire for mining and the effort they put into volunteering at the Recklinghausen training mine. The way everyone helped during the shoot was also a living example of the cohesion of old miners!"
