Auf die Jungs bin ich jetzt erst gestossen.
Krypts kommen aus Finnland und spielen modrigen Old School Death Metal mit Death Doom Elementen, fies vor sich hin groovend begleitet von morbiden Growls . Wenn sie aus Schweden wären und es sie schon vor 20 Jahren gegeben hätte dann wären sie auf jeden Fall im "Swedish Death Metal" Buch erwähnt worden.
2009 kam ein erstes 4 Song Demo raus,Anfang 2011 erschien nochmal eine selbstbetitelte 7".
Letzten Infos zufolge soll 2012 dann noch ein komplettes Album erscheinen:
"The recording process of our first, yet untitled full-length will begin within a week or two. Vinyl treatment is done by Detest Records and Me Saco Un Ojo. Dark Descent will be responsible of the CD. The expected release date is around summer solstice.
More info later, but Myspace will not be actively updated and will most likely be deleted. Topi is no longer part of the band.

Ja Alu ein überaus fettes Brett, da sollte man zuschlagen falls das Teil noch zu haben ist. Sehr schöner Stoff, hab bisher auch schon viel Anerkennung zu der Band gelesen.

Also die 7" ist noch zu haben via Me Saco Un Ojo.Die 4 Song Demo ist ausverkauft, auch bei der Band gibt es sie nicht mehr. Von der Band bekam ich folgende Nachricht dazu:
Hi,
The demo has been sold out long time ago. No re-press is planned for now, for most of the song will be on the coming full-lenght.

hat wer Bock mitzubestellen ? Bei 2x Vinyl wären das insgesamt knapp 34Euro. Spart schon ganz schön Kohle wenn man das Porto teilt.

Doch gibt es auch als CD, aber das Ding hätte ich halt gerne als Vinyl !

Fettes Teil! Muss man allerdings auf einer großen Anlage hören, damit es so morbide und abgrundtief bösartig rüber kommt!

Like a serpent circling its prey, the Finns like to play shadow and it's never truer than on the album's opener, the monstrous 10 minute "Arrow of Entropy." But its follow-up, "The Withering Titan," for instance starts off with Mongol throat chanting, two minutes later the listener is buried under a deluge of blastbeats, only to let the instrumental title-track drown you in the cold and bottomless waters of funeral doom.

Das neue Album von Krypts wird "CADAVER CIRCULATION§ heissen und im Mai 2019 erscheinen. Zu hören sind sechs Titel im Spannungsfeld von Death & Doom, an der Formel der vorangegangenen Alben wurde nichts verändert-nur verfeinert. Die CD/CS/LP kommt via Dark Descent Records, das Coverartwork stammt erneut von Timo Ketola.

Man sollte sich ranhalten. Hat jemand was geplant zwecks vorbestellen? "LVCIFYRE and Krypts pre-orders are going strong. We're about half way through the Krypts color vinyl edition. Both titles are finishing up at the plant now, so reserve yours."
