Neues Kraftfutter aus Germany, mit Ex-Membern von Apophis, Immortal Rites und Dawn of Dreams. Das klingt doch äußerst vielversprechend was die Herren da in ihrem Promoclip musizieren. FDA Rekotz hat als Label auch schon zugeschlagen und das Debutalbum "Deathevokation" soll am 23.Mätz erscheinen. Denke da muß der Deathmetalfan wieder zuschlagen !

Biografie
The idea for REVEL IN FLESH was born in autumn 2011 when it was obvious that my old band IMMORTAL RITES (1996 - January 2012) was falling more or less apart.
REVEL OF FLESH is like a new musical beginning in the way of delivering a non - compromise band under the banner of classical Death Metal.

The current REVEL IN FLESH line – up consist of IMMORTAL RITES (R.I.P), DAWN OF DREAMS and APOPHIS members.
During autumn/early winter 2011/2012 the debut album "Deathevokation" was recorded on at VAULT M. Studio (Germany). The featured material itself was written between 2007 and 2011.
“Deathevokation” is about pure passion for this particular style and the CD version will feature 10 tracks addicted to the way Death Metal was meant to be.

The mastering of “Deathevokation” was handled by DAN SWANÖ at UNISOUND Studios (Sweden) in January 2012.
The coverartwork of "Deathevokation" was delivered by Spanish long - time underground artist Juanjo Castellano, who is well - known in the scene for his work with VOMITORY, BLASPHERIAN or SATHANAS.

"Deathevokation" will be released in spring 2012 on CD format and a vinyl is supposed to follow later on.

Die Vinyl Version vom "Deathevokation" Album ist ab sofort erhältlich !!! Das schwarze Vinyl kann man auch direkt bei der Band ordern.

Within The Morbid Ossuary” nennt sich die 7" Split im Vinyl-Format auf der sich REVEL IN FLESH und REVOLTING ein musikalisches Battle liefern. Zu hören gibt es exklusive und unveröffentlichte Tracks von beiden Combos, die Scheibe ist limitiert auf 200 Stück in rotem Vinyl und 300 Stück in schwarzem Vinyl ! Das geniale Coverartwork wurde von Juanjo Castellano (e.g. RIBSPREADER, SATHANAS, PUTREVORE, HACAVITZ, BELIAL, ANAL VOMIT, VANMARKT…) gezeichnet. Hier heißt es zuschlagen solange die Scheibe noch zu haben ist.

Neues Album im Anmarsch !

Germany’s classic Swe-Death Institution REVEL IN FLESH has returned with a rabid, blood lusting beast of a follow up to critically acclaimed FDA Rekotz debut Deathevokation. Klingen wie auf dem letzten Album.
Trotzdem bin ich der Meinung, dass der Song etwas eintönig ist (wenn man die alten kennt) und der Gesang, gerade bei den tiefen Passagen, zu gepresst und gezwungen wirkt. Mit etwas Feinschliff würde mir das Zeug noch besser reingehen...

Wie seht ihr das?

Hab die komplette Promo schon gehört...

Muss sagen, dass es mir persönlich nicht so reingeht.
Musikalisch sehr fein, wenn auch ohne große Abwechslung, aber der Gesang ist mir immer noich zu sehr gepresst und gequält. Dann doch lieber nicht so böse singen und natürlicher klingen.

Denke aber mal, dass die old school retro Death Fraktion wieder kompromisslos das Ding verehren wird.

revel%20in%20fleshREVEL IN FLESH haben das Artwork für ihre kommende 7" Split EP "The Einding In Fire" mit HUMILIATION aus Malaysia veröffentlicht. Erstellt hat das brutale Teil Badic Arts.
Der Song von RiF wurde von Maggesson in den VAULT M. Studios gemixt und für das mastern war der Meister Dan Swanö mit seinen UNISOUND Sudios verantwortlich.
Die EP wird via Brutal Arts Records veröffentlicht und ist auf 250 Stück limitiert.

The title of this new double slab of DEATH METAL is called:

Swabian Death Metal masters REVEL IN FLESH will unleash their new and fourth full-length-onslaught, entitled “Emissary Of All Plagues”, on 2nd December 2016 via Cyclone Empire.

The album was produced by guitar master Maggesson at the band´s own Vault M. Studio. For mix and mastering they worked again with none other than Dan Swanö (BLOODBATH, EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE…) at his Unisound Studios. More infos, tracklist and coverartwork will follow soon.

Mix und Mastering lag in den Händen von Dan Swanö (Unisound Studios), das Coverartwork stammt von Juanjo Castellano Rosado.

splitDie räudigen deutschen old school Deather REVEL IN FLESH werden ihre 9. (!) Split am 25.8.2017 veröffentlichen. Als zweite Band hat man die Schweden UNDER THE CHURCH im Gepäck.
Mit dem Songwriting waren beide Bands etwas "zurückhaltend" und haben sich jeweils auf eine Coverversion beschränkt. So haben die Schweden eine Cover vom 85er Song "Evil Invaders" Kanadischen Thrasher RAZOR und RiF ein Cover von "Deny The Light" der Brasilianer HEADHUNTER D.C. aufgenommen. Anhören könnt ihr die Songs bereits hier unten.
Die 7" Scheibe ist ein Joint Venture zwischen PULVERISED Records (Singapur) und CUDGEL.

Die Vinyl ist auf 500 Stück limitiert:
100 Rot (CUDGEL)
100 Grau (Gibt es nur von den Bands selbst)
100 Bronze (PULVERISED)
200 Schwarz (PULVERISED)

März 2018 und wird 11 rare Songs enthalten, welche im Zeitraum von 2012 bis 2017 aufgenommen und in dieser verwendeten Form bisher nur als Split-7''-EP-Beiträge oder Vinyl-Bonustracks veröffentlicht wurden. Die CD kommt inklusive Pappschuber-Slipcase und einem umfangreichen Booklet mit jeder Menge Infos, Linernotes und Fotos. Die Scheibe wird via Unspeakable Axe Records im Frühjahr 2019 herauskommen.
Der RiF Song für die Split, wird der erste neue Track sein, der seit dem Album "Emissary of all plagues" in 2016 geschrieben wurde.
Das Artwork könnt ihr hier bereits sehen und wurde in Koorperation mit The art of badic art und Alexander von Temple Of Void erstellt.

The band just signed with the label and is currently in the studio to record their 5th album, which is scheduled to be released in December 2019.

revel in flesh 2018Die old school Deather Revel in Flesh haben die Aufnahmen für ihr 5. Studioalbum in den VAULT M. Studios abgeschlossen. Die Rough Mixes sind nun an den großen Meister Dan Swanö übergeben worden. Dieser wird nun das Mixen und Mastern des Materials im Unisound AB übernehmen. Erscheinen wird die Scheibe über War-Anthem Records.

Die schwäbischen Death Metaller REVEL IN FLESH verkünden mit Stolz die ersten Details zu ihrem fünften Album, "The Hour Of The Avenger"!

Der Nachfolger des hoch gelobten "Emissary Of All Plagues" wird im Dezember 2019 über WAR ANTHEM RECORDS veröffentlicht.

Mix und Mastering lagen in den Händen von Dan Swanö (Unisound Studios). Das Cover stammt erneut von Juanjo Castellano.

Seit der Gründung im Jahr 2011 bleiben REVEL IN FLESH ihren Wurzeln treu, entwickeln den eigenen Sound jedoch stetig weiter. Auf "The Hour Of The Avenger" vereint die Band majestätische Epik mit gnadenlosen Death-Metal-Salven.

Das deutsche Aushängeschild in Sachen Swe-Death REVEL IN FLESH hat zusammen mit dem old-school Bulldozer aus den Niederlanden Graceless eine Split EP aufgenommen. Die neue 7" Split EP wird jeweils einen brandneuen Song der beiden Bands enthalten und dürfte nicht nur ein Fest für die "die hard" Fans und Liebahber von Vinyl sein.

Die EP "Deathbound" wird am 26.02.2021 über War-Anthem Records erscheinen, für das Artwork konnte man den großartigen Mark Riddick (RIDDICKART) verpflichten.
