Die holl�ndischen Blackened Metal Helden ONHEIL pr�sentieren Euch das Cover und die Tracklist ihres kommenden Albums �Storm Is Coming�. Der Nachfolger des sowohl von der Kritik als auch den Fans sehr positiv aufgenommenen 2009er Albums �Razor� wird im Augenblick abgemischt und gemastert durch Bart Hennephof (TEXTURES) und Yuma van Eekelen (Ex-PESTILENCE) in den Final Focus Studios. Der Release des Werks ist f�r Anfang 2014 geplant, nat�rlich bei Cyclone Empire!

S�nger/Gitarrist Amok gibt folgendes dazu zu Protokoll: "Wie bei den meisten Bands, wollen auch wir, dass unser neues Album das bislang beste wird. Da die Reaktionen auf �Razor� aber derart gut und positiv waren, hat sich dieses Unterfangen als ein durchaus ambitionierter Job herausgestellt!

Wir haben den Sound von �Razor� als Blaupause genommen und mit noch mehr Power und Dynamik erg�nzt! Das wird hoffentlich f�r jeden vor allem im Riffing und in der Schlagzeugarbeit zu erkennen sein. Abgesehen davon, haben wir klassischen Heavy- und Thrash-Einfl�ssen etwas mehr Raum gelassen und so f�r deutlich mehr Kontrast zu den f�r uns typischen, Blast-durchsetzten Black- und Death-Passagen gesorgt. Ich denke wir haben �unseren� Sound noch mehr gefunden und den klassischen ONHEIL-Sound noch weiter manifestiert. Das hat alles ganz sch�n viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen, sind uns nun aber sicher, da� wir ein wirklich w�rdiges und noch st�rkeres Nachfolgealbum geschaffen haben! Lasst uns hoffen, da� IHR da draussen es genauso sehen werden! Storm Is Coming!"

Die Band hat wohl bisserl Pech mit dem neuen Album....so langsam k�nnte das mal etwas mehr voran gehen.

Yes, we are sure now. We are cursed, something went wrong again. Yesterday, we got the news that one of our album's master disc got lost in the mail during its travel from the studio in Sweden to our record label in Germany. A new one is already on its way so everything should be fine. But still...

Dutch Blackened Heavy/Thrash Metal band ONHEIL is proud to announce the release of their upcoming album 'Storm Is Coming' to be set for the 5th of September 2014. The follow-up to their critically acclaimed album �Razor�, is their second full-length album and will be published by German record label CYCLONE EMPIRE.

The album was produced and mixed by Bart Hennephof (TEXTURES) and Yuma van Eekelen (Ex-PESTILENCE) at the Final Focus Studios, The Netherlands. Mastering was done by Tore Stjerna at the Necromorbus Studios, Sweden (WATAIN, DESTR�YER 666). The album booklet holds 16 pages of high-quality artwork of which a large part is done by an upcoming artist of the GRIM TWINS ART STUDIO (DEICIDE).

Their previous full-length 'Razor' achieved international acclaim from both media and metalheads world-wide, all praising them for their original mix of furious Black Metal, aggressive Thrash Metal and classic Heavy Metal riffs and harmonic melodies. Due to problems both related to the recordings as well as to personal issues the release date of 'Storm Is Coming' was postponed a few times. ONHEIL's fans and supporters are therefore waiting with high suspense of this new release as it's has been 5 years since 'Razor'.

H�rprobe ! Sehr melodisch....aber trotzdem geil.

Die Holl�nder ONHEIL pr�sentieren mit "Self-Destruction Mode" ein neues Musikvideo und damit den ersten kompletten Song von ihrem neuen Album 'Storm Is Coming', welches am 5. September 2014 �ber Cyclone Empire ver�ffentlicht wird.

Die Band kommentiert das Videokonzept wie folgt: �Extracted from the generic self-destructive themed lyrics of the song, the 'Self-Destruction Mode' music video focuses on the part of continued excessive use of alcoholic substances. The scenes in the video display different issues related to such behavior, may it be shown in an abstract form. The content of the lyrics was inspired by experiences from the daily lives of ONHEIL's band members but anyone that sometimes drinks a bit too much, and get's in trouble because of it, can probably relate to it.�

Die Release-Show zum Album findet am 30. August im Bibelot Club, Dordrecht (NL) statt ( < http://www.bibelot.net/welcome > ). Weitere Gigs sind in Planung.

'Storm Is Coming' wurde von Bart Hennephof (TEXTURES) und Yuma van Eekelen (Ex-PESTILENCE) produziert und gemixt, das Mastering lag in den H�nden von Tore Stjerna (Necromorbus Studio). Das Albumcover / Artwork wurde vom Grim Twins Art Studio (u.a. DEICIDE) angefertigt.

Irgendwie springt hier auch nicht der Funke �ber.
Sound-Technisch etwas schwach auf der Brust (vom Bass is fast nichts zu h�ren), die Gitarren auch eher im klassischen Heavy Metal Sound, von Thrash oder Blackened Thrash ist hier sehr wenig zu h�ren. Schade, nach dem guten ersten Album hab ich mehr erwartet.

Stimmt so schlecht ist der Song gar nicht. M�sste noch etwas r�udiger daher kommen.
Hoffe der Rest der Scheibe hat etwas mehr Biss und Arsch in der Hose!

OMEGA LEGIONS, with great sorrow we have to announce that drummer TERGER will be leaving ONHEIL. The last few years TERGER's personal life changed immensely, his priorities slowly shifted, and his time was more and more consumed by other things. Therefore he had to make this decision.

We will miss his contribution greatly. In the last seven years we played over 40 shows and festivals with Terger in which he was always a stable foundation. His creative drumming on our two albums, 'Razor' and 'Storm Is Coming', was also phenomenal, pushing the quality of the song to a higher level. Also as �the social guy� he managed to arrange really great live shows.

As people we will miss his presence in the band too. It was great to go on this adventure with him, signing our first record deal, recording our first albums, going on the road, playing big professional stages, playing crappy venues. As we were friends before TERGER even joined ONHEIL, drinking beer, visiting concerts and festivals together, it's a shame he is not part of the band any more. But all of ONHEIL's members fully understand his situation and truly wish him the best of luck.

Terger will not be 100% gone yet, he will join ONHEIL again in February to play with us on one of the German gigs. And perhaps some other times once again! All the other gigs will be done by our good friend Toorn, who has helped us out before. So no shows are cancelled!

We are looking for a permanent replacement. So if you are a drummer or know someone... contact us!

Dutch Blackened Heavy/Death Metal band ONHEIL proudly announces the digital release of their last two albums 'Storm Is Coming' and 'Razor'. Besides the CD format, these two albums are now also available through web stores and streaming services like Spotify, i-Tunes, Google Play and Amazon. Both albums are published by German record label Cyclone Empire.

The digital release is accompanied by a music video for the song �The Omega Legions� which contains mostly footage from one of their live shows, both filmed professionally as well as by fans in the audience. ONHEIL will also play a special headline show on the 27th of August at the legendary underground venue Baroeg, The Netherlands, to celebrate the occasion.

'The Omega Legions' is not only a song about nihilism and revolution, it's also how ONHEIL has named their fans. Especially the ones supporting the band at their live shows, headbanging like crazy or getting into the mosh-pit. The song and video is ONHEIL's way to pay tribute to these metal maniacs.

Onheil brings their A game with their furious new album �In Black Ashes�. Due for release June 9th. Fully utilizing the possibilities offered by having a three-guitarist band, every riff is an example of a creative melodic build, with hi-energy thrash/black undertones. The band delivers a well-performed and written album that strives and succeeds at being both hard-hitting, heavy, and aggressive yet melodic and enchanting.

Partly recorded during the pandemic, the album features mostly new members along with founding member Amok. The band decided against releasing the album too close after the pandemic, spending the time to bring the album to its full potential. Die niederl�ndischen Death Metaller ONHEIL haben ihre neue Single und Video f�r "Bloodthirst" ver�ffentlicht. Checkt das Teil unten an. Die dritte Single vom kommenden Album "In Black Ashes" wird ab dem 2.6.2023 auf allen digitalen Plattformen zu haben sein. Das komplette Album erscheint am 23.6.2023 bei dem schwedischen Label Black Lion Records.
