Theogonia Records gibt stolz die Aufnahme von AMONGRUINS in sein geschätztes Künstlerverzeichnis bekannt. AMONGRUINS wurden 2012 als Studioprojekt unter Freunden gegründet und haben sich zu einem beeindruckenden Live-Act entwickelt, der das Publikum mit seinem modernen, melodischen Death Metal-Sound in seinen Bann zieht. Mit ihrer Unterzeichnung bei Theogonia Records veröffentlichten AMONGRUINS am 14. Juli 2023 ihr mit Spannung erwartetes drittes Album, „Land of the Black Sun“.Having already released two full-length albums, "Bring Out Your Dead" (2013) and "No Light" (2016), AMONGRUINS has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the metal scene. Their music is characterized by melodic guitars juxtaposed with Sverd's harsh vocals, complemented by powerful bass lines and drum beats. AMONGRUINS' sound is a perfect fusion of brutality and melody, evoking a sense of darkness and despair.

Wenn der Rest in die gleiche Kerbe haut, werde ich da wohl zuschlagen. Geiler Melo-Death mit fetten Vocals!

Leider hält der Rest nicht, was das Video bzw. der Song verspricht, sind 2-3 weitere gute Songs dabei, aber auch vieles in Durchschnittsware. Auch klingt die Liveversion von dem Video um einiges besser, da mehr Dampf, als die CD Version....
