On Saturday 11th May 2019, Incineration Fest makes its return to Camden Town, London, for what is to be the festivals 6th edition and with arguably the most exciting line up yet!
Headlining the 2019 event will be Norwegian black metal icons MAYHEM - one of extreme metal’s most controversial and influential bands. The band will perform a special 'Demon Anthology' show which will be an extended set combining their greatest songs from all of their albums. This will be the only UK performance of Mayhem in 2019.
Sub--headlining the festival will be Norwegian black metal masters CARPATHIAN FOREST who return to London for the first time since selling out their headline show at the Underworld back in 2013.
Joining the black metal duo at Incineration Fest 2019 will be the mighty death thrashers ASPHYX!

Das Festival findet in 3 Locations in Camden (gleichzeitig) statt.
Suri und ich werden daran teilnehmen und sind von Mittwoch - Sonntag in London. Flüge (aktuell sehr günstig) und Tickets sind bereits gebucht.
Für eine begrenzte Zahl Leute gibt es auch eine (kostenlose) Unterkunft bei einer uns gut bekannten Dame.
Das Billing wird sicher noch richtig fett werden.

Meine Fresse, jetzt kommen aber nochmal Knaller!
British death metal legends Benediction will make their Incineration Festival debut alongside Australian black metal band Advent Sorrow, Italian brutal death metal band Antropofagus (Official) and Mexico-based blackened death metal band Tombstoners who are all making their UK debuts at Incineration!
Flying the flag high for the UK underground extreme metal scene; Deitus, Master's Call, Trivax, Sphinx and Mechanized Dirge also join this stacked line up!

ADVENT SORROW waren soooo gut. Ganz großartig.
Benediction waren ebenfalls der Hammer, großes Kino und Abschiedstränen vom Sänger.
Asphyx waren gut wie immer.
Shining haben mir ebenfalls gefallen, auch wenn Kvarforth dieses mal keine Skandale produziert hat.
Überraschend gut auch Unholy Lust aus L.A.
MAYHEM fand ich, wie schon beim PSOA, nicht überzeugend aber hatten die meisten Zuschauer und die größte Bühne.
CARPATHIAN FOREST waren echt rock/pop-ig. So der böse Black Metal touch wollte gar nicht so aufkommen.
Das Festival war ausverkauft und das Konzept mit den 3 Location in 2 - 5 Minuten Fußweite war gar nicht so schlecht wie befürchtet. Durch den Zeitversatz bei den Bands konnte man zumindest überall mal reinschnuppern...
Werde noch einen kleinen Bericht schreiben und Bilder sowie Videos posten.
