"In Death" ist der Nachfolger zum 2013er "Black Testament" und wurde in den belgischen Mortsella Studios aufgenommen. Mix und Mastering fand im Clintworks Studio (Amon Amarth, 3 Inches Of Blood, Misery Index) statt. Das Coverartwork stammt von Chadwick St John (Arckanum, Horna, The Piper graphic novel).
Ornias kommentiert: "The new record completes and combaines the Black Testament and the Nightmarish Sleep albums. My revelations. My deathwork".
