Das sagte Ruoja der Frontman von Ajattara, die in der Szene als gefährlichste Black Metal Band aus Finnland gehandelt wird. Die sechs Apokaliptischen Reiter haben nach sechs Jahren Ihren weg zurück in die Dunkelheit gefunden. Das neue Album der Band erscheint unter Svart Records am 12.Mai 2017 und trägt den namen Lupaus. Das neunte Full-Length Album ist auf CD,Digital und auch als Doppel-Vinyl-Set mit Bonus Tracks erhältlich.
Die erste Single "Ave Satana" wurde schon veröffentlicht und kommt mit einem Video das schon jetzt mehr Lust auf das Album macht:
Aufgenommen wurde das neue Album in Andalusien, Spanien im Studio Casa de la Musica in den Bergen von Àlora. Die trockene Landschaft in den Bergen verkörpert den rohen und brutalen Sound der Band wohl kaum besser. Lupaus ist eine Ode an die tiefsten Gefühle des menschlichen Leidens und des Verlustes.Die neun Tracks packen und zerreißen den Zuhörer mit teuflischer Kraft. “The fire of artistic creation never goes out, and the years of having to withstand major changes in life only fanned those flames,” comments Ruoja, “so I had no shortage of things to say. Lupaus is six rough years condensed in nine tracks and 50 minutes, played with Satanic fervor and taken to extremes."
