"Critical Madness: The Demo Years" enthält frühe Werke der Death Metaller AUTOPSY. Es bündelt das erste Demo von 1987 und das legendäre 1988er "Critical Madness" Demo, durch dieses kam es damals zum Deal mit Peaceville und dem 1989er Album "Severed Survival".
Dazu kommt noch der rare Song ‘Christ Denied’ und diverses rohes Rehearsal Material aus der Zeit von 1987 & 88.

 Diese reine Vinylveröffentlichung fasst die Tracks von ‘All Tomorrow’s Funerals’ und ‘Horrific Obsession’ zusammen.
‘Sign of the Corpse’ enthält die Titel vom 2012er Studioalbum ‘All Tomorrow’s Funerals’, ebenso die Neuaufnahme des Klassikers ‘Mauled to Death’.
Dann wären da noch die zwei Titel der ‘Horrific Obsession’ 7” von 2009 die damals das erste Studiolebenszeichen nach 15jähriger Unterbrechung war und im Rahmen des zwanzigjährigen Jubiläums der Truppe erschien.

"MORBIDITY TRIUMPHANT", das lang erwartete neue Album der Death Metal Legende AUTOPSY, erscheint am 30.September. Der Nachfolger vom 2014er ‘Tourniquets, Hacksaws and Graves’ ist damit das achte Album.
‘Morbidity Triumphant’ ist ebenso das erste Album mit dem neuen Bassisten Greg Wilkinson der auch mit Chris Reifert zusammen bei Static Abyss aktiv ist. Chris Reifert kommentiert die Zusammenarbeit: “Working with Greg on the Autopsy record was totally different than the Static Abyss one, mostly since Autopsy is a complete band with their own pre-established ways of doing things - we just abducted him into the band and had him roll with our ways, which he took to like a fish to gasoline so much so that he contributed a song musically which fit in perfectly with the rest of the sickening anthems on the album.”
Das Coverartwork stammt von Wes Benscoter (Slayer, Bloodbath). Chris dazu: “Wes delivered another stunner. What a maniac! We didn’t give him much to work with as usual. I think, maybe, just a couple of song titles and themes maybe and his imagination did most of the work. The album title came along after the fact. After having our minds blown by Wes’ art we arrived at “Morbidity Triumphant” which seemed to fit the theme of the painting as well as the way we feel about the state of the band in general. We’ve been working hard at our sick craft with zero compromise and it seems we’re still hitting our stride somehow.”

 Die Death Metal Legende AUTOPSY steht mit einem neuen Album in den Startlöchern. "Ashes, Organs, Blood And Crypts" wird am 27.10.2023 via Peaceville Records veröffentlicht werden. Das Video zum neuen Song "Throatsaw" köönnt ihr euch bereits unten ansehen.
Der Nachfolger des 2022er Album "Morbidity Triumphant" wurde von Scott Evans und Greg Wilkinson in den Sharkbite Studios und Earhammer Studios von Greg Wilkinson aufgenommen. Das Mixing wurde von Greg Wilkinson und das Mastern von Ken Lee erledigt. Das Artwork stammt aus der Feder von Wes Benscoter (Bloodbath / Slayer).
